Young Enterprise Students in Year 12 are currently undergoing on-the-job training as they take on their first market stall of the year. The company ‘Bloss’ have designed handmade trinket plates which are currently trending at the moment in high street stores.
‘We have learnt so much already from the trade stall. We have had to research designs, shapes, material and costs for making as well as work and communicate as a team. The cash flow has been really interesting too, we have had to run bake sales to generate cash to buy materials with and have for petty cash for sales.’ – Emily (Managing Director)
The students have worked really hard and presented well to the judges to show where ideas have come from and how their finance works. They have even had to present to some of the candidates from the past series of ‘The Apprentice’! Here’s to our group of Lord Sugars and Karen Bradys!
