Post 16 Results day success!

We are delighted to celebrate some excellent Post 16 results with our Year 13 students. We are particularly proud of our 100% pass rate at the IBCP (IB Career Related Programme) , our A*-A grades at A-Level and the fact that so many of our IB students achieved the full IB Diploma with outstanding results in their standalone subjects.
Students achieved A*and A grades in a range of A-Levels including Maths, Further Maths, Fine Art, Media, History, English Literature, Religious Studies, Photography, Psychology, Sociology, Textiles, Product Design, English Language and Business Studies.

A particular well done to Chinwe Anuakwu who achieved two A* grades and an A and has accepted a place to study Psychology at Kings College London, Annielese Simson who achieved an A* and two A grades and will be studying Art at a specialist Art College, Lucy Statham who achieved two A grades and a B grade and has accepted a place to study 3D Design at Portsmouth University , Beatrice Demetrieu who achieved an A*, an A and a 6 in IB and will be studying at a specialist Art College, Emmanuel Ibeh who achieved an A*, an A and a C grade and has accepted a place to study Chemical Engineering at Surrey University, Harry Marchant who achieved A*, B and C grade and will be studying Biology at Portsmouth University .

Chinwe: Hard work pays off, it’s days like this that I realise that the tears are worth it.

Ying: “I am looking forward to studying Maths at Queen Mary.”

Beatrice: “I’m so grateful for the teaching at EHS, I have been here for two years and am now happy to progress onto an Arts course at university.”

Harry Marchant: ”I don’t have words for my experience, it has been very good. Although I had a rough start I pulled through.”

There was outstanding success in A-Level Art, Photography and Textiles and many of our Art students will be focusing on their chosen specialism in dedicated Art Colleges such as Ravensbourne and Rose Bruford or will be studying Art subjects at University.

Our IB Career Related Programme students received their BTEC results and we are extremely proud of their successes with students being accepted to study Law, Forensic Science, Criminology, Education and Nursing. Particular congratulations to Ashwaaq Yusef who achieved D*D*D in the BTEC extended diploma in Health and Social Care and Katherine Curtis who achieved D*DD, both will be studying nursing at City University.
