Five Year 9 students (Sia Tutu, Lucia Gester, Mia Inman, Sarah Hamoudi and Zynab Adesanya) were invited to a tour of the Westminster Parliament. The tour guides were very impressed by all students and their articulate questions. They even got the chance to stand in the same room where major political decisions that affect our government are made.
These five students were the winners of the Year 8 Great Debate last year and therefore received a shield of recognition. The shield was presented to them by the Greenwich MP, Clive Efford. They asked challenging questions about our current political climate and participated in a lengthy discussion.
These students were brilliant representations of the Eltham Hill School community.
