Head Girl Discusses Climate Change on BBC Radio 5 Live

Just before Christmas, Hannah Bewley, a journalist on the BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast show contacted ‘The Green Schools Project’ looking for teenagers who are passionate about protecting the environment to feature on the New Year’s Day show which had the theme of #Green2019.

Our Head Girl, Claramae Flemming, 11E, was selected along with along with two other girls form an East London school to appear on the show. Claramae did a brilliant job talking about some of the projects that she is involved with at Eltham Hill and how she is trying to influence others to tackle climate breakdown and protect the natural world.

We would like to give a huge congratulations to Claramae for representing herself and Eltham Hill school so well on national radio and also speaking on a cause that effect us all. Well done Claramae!
