The 2017 cohort at Eltham Hill School is celebrating another year of fantastic GCSE results. Despite the wave of national change with new GCSE syllabuses and grading changes, we are delighted that our English results have continued to rise with 84% of pupils achieving grades 4-9, placing Eltham Hill well above the National figure for this measure. Our Triple Sciences have also achieved great results with 82% of pupils achieving 3 or more A*-C grades.
We are extremely proud of all our young women who have shown determination, hard work and tenacity in achieving this set of results.
We would also like to congratulate the following girls for outstanding attainment -, Fizah Munwar 5A*, 1A, 2B’s , 2 grade 8’s and 1 grade 7, Paloma Pearson – 1A*, 6A’s 1B, 2 grade 9’s 1 grade 7, Zara Hassan – 2 A*,3A’s 3B’s, 1 grade 9, 1 grade 8 and 1 grade 6, Faith Osideko 2 A*’s, 5A’s1 B, 1 grade 8 and 2 grade 6’s, Prashamsa Gharti- 6 A’s,1B, 2 grade 7’s and 1 grade 8.
We would particularly like to congratulate the following girls for making fantastic progress from their Key Stage 2 results – Iwinosa Egharevba, Sajni Kerai, Karen Camelo Cuintaco, Wiktoria Cebulak De Matos and Tahmina Begum Islam.
We are confident that all our students will build upon their excellent foundation and we wish everyone continued success in Post 16.
These are provisional results for performance of pupils at Eltham Hill at Key Stage 4 at the end of the academic year 2016/17 that finished in July 2017. These provisional results were published in October 2017. In January 2018 the government will publish revised figures, which will include updates, for example, due to late results, amendments following re-mark requests and pupil changes made via the schools checking exercise. The revised figures will include more detailed breakdowns than the provisional data.
