Welcome to our 6th Form
High quality education and support for a happy and successful future
By Dianah Baker - Assistant Headteacher (Post-16 and Wider Curriculum)
Eltham Hill Sixth Form strives to be the number one co-educational centre of choice for students from our surrounding area.
We provide a high-quality educational experience, supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes, and combine this with a broad range of extracurricular opportunities, Gatsby-standard careers and future choices guidance, and pastoral support designed to provide for individual students’ needs and to nurture and develop their unique skills and talents.
We work with a range of organisations to provide students with opportunities that will help them decide what they want their future to look like and then help them to get there. These include: The Elephant Group, The Old Vic, The Shaw Trust, Medic Mentor, Health Pioneers, Zero Gravity, Mansfield College - Oxford, Gonville and Caius College - Cambridge and Target Oxbridge.
Our teachers are experts in their subjects who are able to ensure students develop the knowledge and skills required for success both academically and in their future lives. They encourage students to become increasingly independent and reflective, whilst guiding and supporting them as they develop their autonomy.
Our building offers specialist classrooms, laboratories and creative spaces that allow students to explore their chosen subjects fully, and independent study areas ensure students have the space and resources they need to succeed in their independent studies.
Our students have gone on to achieve success in all its diversity - we have seen students progress to Oxbridge, law, the creative arts, science and technology and a range of prestigious apprenticeships.
