I am excited and proud to be a member of the Eltham Hill School community. I chose to join the Leadership Group here because the school vision of enabling all students to achieve and experience Excellence, Happiness and Success are at the heart of why I love being an educator.

After completing a degree at Queen Mary University of London in European Studies and French, I returned to France for a year to work in schools as a Foreign Language Assistant. This experience secured for me that teaching is my absolute passion. I returned to London and completed a PGCE at Goldsmiths University of London.

I have been fortunate to teach many subject specialisms during my time in education. I am currently teaching Science and Literacy and I have previously taught French, Spanish, English, PSHE, PE, GCSE RE and the KS2 primary curriculum.

Like Nelson Mandela, I truly believe that “Education is the great engine of personal development.” This is what continues to drive me to provide excellent lessons as a teacher and high-quality whole school provision within my areas of leadership responsibility. It is also why I ensure I continue to be a learner including completing a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Warwick and the NPQSL qualification with TELSA.

As Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Inclusion and Literacy, I am committed to ensuring we continue to offer an inclusive, broad and balanced curriculum to ensure all pupils progress to their maximum potential during their time in education.
